TachyHealth, Galala Uni to collaborate on AI R&D

TachyHealth, a healthcare technology startup that provides intelligent solutions for value-driven healthcare, has signed a 12-month Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Galala University, a national, non-profit university in Al Galala, Suez, Egypt.

Under the MoU, TachyHealth through its Healthcare Innovation Hub and Galala University will work together to provide internships and graduation project support for AI Software Engineering and Biomedical Informatics students, as well as cooperate in projects for funding proposals and research papers.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Osama AbouElkhir, CEO of TachyHealth, and Ptof. Ahmed Hanoo, Vice President for Student Affairs, Galala University. The two entities will work together to provide internships for students from the university’s Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering; provide field training for university courses or graduation projects, which will be counted as credit hours; provide options for publishing papers; and collect data from medical institutions that TachyHealth has collaborated with, such as Dar El Oyoun Hospital in Sharjah, UAE.
