DigiHealthDayS-2026 to co-host 29th ISfTeH International Conference in Bavaria

DigiHealthDayS-2026 will take place from 11 to 13 November in Pfarrkirchen, Bavaria, co-hosted this year with the 29th International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH) International Conference. The event will run in hybrid format, with both onsite and online participation.

The conference is organised by the European Campus Rottal-Inn (DIT-ECRI) of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, alongside sponsors, donors and partners.

Programme themes for 2026 include AI in healthcare, health system strengthening and resilience, the European Health Data Space (EHDS), and One Health approaches to public health. The three-day schedule will include keynotes, panels, scientific sessions, a student session and a dedicated ISfTeH session. A preliminary programme is available on the event website, with sessions and timings subject to change ahead of the event.

Confirmed speakers include Michele Griffith, president of the ISfTeH, and Jefferson Fernandes, director of the ISfTeH’s education programme. Returning speakers from previous editions include Birgit Bauer, Pilar Fernandez Hermida, Angela Ahrendt, Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Lars Lindsköld, Henrique Martins, Georg Münzenrieder, Laura Stahl, Martin Gerdes, Stephan Schug, Eva Sabajová, Camila Tomikawa and Lenka Lhotská.

Sponsorship packages are available for organisations seeking to reach event attendees, with enquiries directed to the organisers.

Researchers, students and professionals can submit papers, abstracts or posters ahead of a 1 September 2026 deadline, with a Student and Young Researcher Contest running alongside the main programme.
