By Matthew Brady Kuala Lumpur-based Health Digital Technologies (HDT) is teaming up with India-based medical imaging company Fischer Medical Ventures to expand its digital health platform DoctorOnCall globally. The platform brings together virtual consultations, online pharmacy services, and bespoke corporate medical concierge services.
According to HDT CEO Maran Virumandi Fischer, Fischer MV’s investment and marketing support will enable DoctorOnCall to expand its reach worldwide. HDT to date has expanded into Singapore and Indonesia.
Fischer MV meanwhile aims to expand its telehealth services worldwide through its partnership with HDT. Ravindran Govindan, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Fischer MV, believes the collaboration will not only expand B2C markets but also acquire corporate clients and insurance providers globally for HDT, by leveraging his company’s digital health strengths across ASEAN, India, and the Middle East.
