Altibbi and Zain Saudi Arabia launch in-app telehealth service

Altibbi, a leading digital-health platform in the Middle East, has partnered with Zain Saudi Arabia to introduce Zain Clinic, an in-app telehealth service that provides Zain subscribers with 24/7 access to licensed physicians. The service enables users to consult doctors through chat, voice, or video directly within the Zain mobile app.

The platform integrates Altibbi’s network of more than 240 accredited physicians, who can diagnose conditions and issue digital prescriptions that can be filled at pharmacies nationwide. According to the companies, medical advice is typically delivered in under two minutes. The service is available to all Zain KSA subscribers without the need to download a separate application.

The launch marks an expansion of Altibbi’s presence in Saudi Arabia and aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for digital health. Altibbi plans to roll out Zain Clinic in Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates in 2026 as part of its strategy to integrate telehealth services into major digital platforms across the Gulf.

Jalil Alabadi, CEO of Altibbi, said the partnership allows the company to extend medical consultations and prescription services to users via a platform they already use. He added that the service demonstrates how digital healthcare can be accessible and integrated into everyday life, and that the company aims to expand this model to neighbouring markets.
