e& enterprise, RAIN Technology partner to enhance OR workflows with Orva voice assistant

Operating room

Healthcare AI company RAIN Technology is to roll out Orva, the world’s first operating room voice assistant, across hospitals in the Middle East and Africa in a new collaboration with e&’s digital transformation unit, e& enterprise.

By combining e& enterprise’s expertise in healthcare integration with its advanced technological infrastructure, the partnership aims to improve patient outcomes while also driving cost savings and revenue growth for hospitals.

Orva, the AI voice assistant, is trained to understand a wide range of accents, reflecting the UAE’s diverse healthcare workforce. Similar to Alexa, it allows surgical teams to track progress by saying, “Hey Orva,” and providing inputs in natural language.

Orva helps teams reduce perioperative bottlenecks, enhance care coordination, and improve documentation quality and compliance in real time. Additionally, it provides hospital administrators with valuable insights, enabling data-driven strategic and operational decision-making while enhancing overall efficiency in the operating room.
