Czech AI firm Carebot enters Vietnamese market with Bach Mai Hospital partnership

Czech medical AI company Carebot has announced a collaboration with Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi, marking its entry into the Vietnamese healthcare market as part of a broader push into Asia and the Middle East.

The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Cooperation covering the implementation of Carebot’s AI solutions in clinical practice at Bach Mai, one of Vietnam’s largest and most prominent public hospitals. The agreement focuses on integrating AI directly into clinical workflows, with the stated aim of supporting radiologists in routine decision-making.

During a visit to Hanoi, Carebot representatives presented findings from research into early lung cancer detection using AI, demonstrating how the technology can support earlier identification of critical findings in diagnostic imaging.

The collaboration aligns with Bach Mai Hospital’s ongoing development of a smart hospital model, in which digital infrastructure, integrated health records, and AI are being embedded into the foundations of clinical care rather than deployed as standalone tools.

Carebot, which has established a presence across Central and Eastern Europe, said the Vietnamese market represents a significant opportunity given the pace of change in the country’s healthcare system. CEO Matěj Misař described the partnership as “an important step in bringing clinically validated AI into new regions and real hospital environments.”

The agreement also carries a bilateral dimension, contributing to growing Czech–Vietnamese engagement in healthcare innovation and digital transformation.
