International Healthcare Week 2025 opens in Kuala Lumpur

International Healthcare Week (IHW) 2025 officially opened today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, drawing thousands of healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and innovators. Taking place from 16 to 18 July 2025, the event showcases the latest advancements in healthcare technologies and solutions.

IHW 2025  integrates five flagship international healthcare trade shows under one roof, spanning 26,000 square meters and covering the full healthcare value chain.

Attendees can explore innovations across a diverse array of sectors, including the complete pharmaceutical production supply chain through CPHI South East Asia; medical devices and hospital services via WHX Kuala Lumpur (formerly Asia Health); diagnostics and medical laboratory technologies at WHX Labs Kuala Lumpur (formerly Medlab Asia); medical device design and manufacturing with Medtec Southeast Asia; and digital health innovations led by HIMSS APAC.

The co-location of events enables attendees to see over 900 leading local, regional, and international exhibitors showcasing more than 15,000 products and services, in a single venue, saving time and money.

Rungphech (Rose) Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director ASEAN at Informa Markets, the IHW organiser, highlighted Malaysia’s strategic role as ASEAN Chair in 2025 and host of IHW 2025, noting: “Malaysia’s leadership and supportive initiatives position it as a gateway for global healthcare collaboration, making IHW 2025 a pivotal event to elevate regional healthcare cooperation and economic growth.”

The event expects to welcome approximately 21,000 professionals from over 50 countries, providing unparalleled opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and business partnerships. Complementing the exhibitions, more than 125 dedicated conferences will address specific industry needs and developments, offering targeted learning experiences.
