Ping An Good Doctor AI Doctor users top 5.6 million as platform expands

Ping An Healthcare Technology Co., Ltd., the digital health arm of Ping An Insurance Group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, has reported that users of its AI doctor service surpassed 5.6 million, with its multidisciplinary team diagnosis and treatment system for complex diseases maintaining an accuracy rate of approximately 95%.

The figures were disclosed as part of the company’s first quarter 2026 financial results, released on 23 April.

The company, known commercially as Ping An Good Doctor, said its AI services operate through a combined human and AI model, with the technology applied across diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient interaction.

During the quarter, the company expanded its offline digital health infrastructure, extending its “Ping An Medical Payment” QR code payment system to 111,000 pharmacies nationwide for use in corporate health management drug purchasing scenarios.

Corporate health services recorded growth in the period, with the number of paying corporate clients over the prior 12 months reaching more than 7,500. The company attributed the increase to expanded business-to-business client acquisition and deeper integration of online and offline service channels.

Home-based elderly care services also grew, with the number of qualifying customers increasing to more than 290,000.

Ping An Good Doctor operates across four service channels — online, home, hospital, and enterprise — and said it continued to onboard third-party service providers during the quarter to broaden its product range.
