Ping An Good Doctor deepens AI-assisted care, expands hospital and pharmacy network

Ping An Good Doctor‘s AI Doctor service, built on the company’s Ping An Medical Master large language model, achieved 100% coverage across Ping An Group’s retail customer base during the six months to 30 June 2026, with more than 9.7 million users during the period, according to the company’s interim results. AI Doctor can now assist diagnosis across more than 11,300 conditions, the company said.

The service sits within a broader offline network. The company said it now partners with 3,216 Ping An Selected Hospitals, including 1,732 tertiary (3A) hospitals, supported by a team of approximately 50,000 in-house and contracted doctors, including more than 3,700 contracted specialists.

Its “Ping An Health Pay” settlement network, which connects in-hospital and out-of-hospital payment channels, now covers 149,000 of the nearly 245,000 partner pharmacies nationwide, the company said, simplifying medical visits and medication purchases for users. More than 1,800 corporate clients, covering over 1 million employees, now have access to the service.

The company’s corporate-facing offline network, “Ping An Circle,” has expanded to more than 500 sites, offering health consultations, checkup interpretation, chronic disease management and medication guidance to corporate employees.

On home-based care, the company said its senior care services now cover 140 cities nationwide, with more than 310,000 customers eligible for home-based support.
