Aster DM Healthcare launches myAster digital health app in Saudi Arabia

myAster app launches at LEAP 2025

Integrated healthcare provider Aster DM Healthcare has launched its digital health platform, myAster, for Saudi Arabia, at the Riyadh tech event LEAP 2025, aligning with its commitment to expanding in the Kingdom and transforming the healthcare experience for Saudi patients.

Already available in the UAE with over 2 million downloads, the app offers an all-encompassing suite of services, including online pharmacy, prescription home delivery, appointment management, video consultation, and home care services.

Designed to meet diverse user needs, myAster empowers individuals to track their health vitals, access lab reports and medical records, and benefit from chronic disease management programs tailored for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

myAster additionally showcased AI and generative AI voice integration in collaboration with Google Cloud, an advanced myAster capability that introduces Arabic voice response, allowing patients to describe their symptoms in their native dialect for personalised and culturally relevant interactions.

The AI-driven symptom analysis guides users to the most appropriate specialists or healthcare services within Aster’s network. By bridging language barriers and enhancing accessibility, the innovation is consistent with Aster’s commitment to delivering inclusive and patient-centric healthcare solutions in Saudi Arabia.

The launch of myAster aligns with Aster’s broader USD 250 million commitment to Saudi Arabia, which includes establishing 30 medical centers that will employ 4,900 people in the Kingdom over the next 2-3 years among other initiatives to provide a seamless connected care experience for Saudi patients.
