Diary: HLTH Europe – A quick stop in one of my favourite cities

HLTH Europe

Amsterdam is one of my favourite cities – perfectly balanced, with just the right mix of edge and charm. I first visited in 1998, during my more wide-eyed years, so I’m especially delighted to be returning this year for HLTH to connect with the cream of Europe’s digital health startup community.

There’s also much the Asian healthtech community can learn from Europe – and vice versa. Perhaps it’s a little controversial to say, but the Netherlands and Asia share a long and complex history of trade. I used to visit remnants of Dutch heritage in cities like Melaka and Jakarta.

Unfortunately, I’ll only be there on Wednesday evening and all of Thursday, owing to my last-minute planning – so if you’re around at RAI Convention Center, I’d love to say hi.
