MDEC recognises Auryzen with Malaysia Digital Status for cross-border health services

Auryzen, a Singapore–Johor Bahru cross-border healthcare booking platform, has been granted Malaysia Digital (MD) Status by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). The designation is given to companies that meet governance, innovation and regional scalability criteria within Malaysia’s digital economy framework.

The platform enables Singapore residents to search for and book appointments with licensed healthcare and wellness providers in Johor Bahru, a route increasingly used for services that are priced lower than in Singapore. Users can view provider-listed fees, compare options and schedule visits in advance.

Auryzen said demand continues to rise for cross-border services not covered by insurance or national schemes, particularly in areas such as GP visits, dental care and wellness treatments.

Founder and CEO Mosman Auryzen said the MD Status would support the company’s efforts to ensure verified providers, transparent pricing and secure navigation of cross-border care.

The MD certification reflects Auryzen’s compliance with governance and data-protection standards, including Malaysia’s PDPA 2010 and Singapore’s cross-border data-transfer requirements. It also recognises the company’s operational readiness and potential for regional expansion.
