Open Medical Europe and Saudi’s Ministry of Health partner to optimise surgical care

King Fahd Road, Riyadh

Open Medical, a team of clinically-led digital health experts from the UK, has agreed to collaborate with the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia and Jeddah-based partner Tamer Group, an integrated healthcare group, with the goal of digitalising and automating the pre-operative clinical pathway.

A pilot programme under this strategic partnership will seek to improve surgical waiting list management across the Kingdom by reducing surgery waiting times, optimizing theatre management, and decreasing surgery cancellations.

The MoU builds upon Open Medical and Tamer Group’s partnership established a year earlier, aiming to provide digital transformation solutions and support Saudi Arabia’s healthcare transformation journey under Vision 2030.
