Ping An Good Doctor accelerates AI healthcare services and expands nationwide network in H1 2025

During the first half of 2025, Chinese digital health company Ping An Good Doctor significantly advanced its AI-driven healthcare services, accelerating the application of its technology, the company announced. It continued to enhance its large multi-modal model, Ping An Medical Master, leveraging six world-leading medical databases alongside data from 1.44 billion consultations.

Building on this foundation, the company rolled out its “7+N+1” AI medical product system, which includes Renowned Doctor Digital Avatar, AI Family Doctor, AI Senior Care Concierge, AI Clinics, AI Health Manager, AI Chronic Disease Manager, and AI Health Benefit Officer. The suite provides intelligent decision support across the full spectrum of medical scenarios.

The company also launched a multidisciplinary team (MDT) consultation assistance platform for complex diseases, initially applied to breast cancer. This platform supports users from diagnosis through recovery, improving both efficiency and patient experience. AI-assisted consultations achieved an accuracy rate of approximately 98%, while MDT treatment plans for complex conditions reached nearly 80% accuracy. Daily service capacity for AI doctors reached 4 million visits, and AI integration reduced the average service cost per family doctor user by about 52%, while improving business platform operational efficiency by roughly 50%.

In addition, Ping An Good Doctor introduced its annual medical and health services brand, featuring “Proactive Family Doctor Care, Zero-Distance Access to Renowned Doctors, and Full-Journey Medical Management.” These services are delivered by family doctors certified by both Peking University International Hospital and the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), offering one-on-one contracts, medical record analysis, and proactive follow-ups. The system targets four key demographic groups with differentiated care.

The company also expanded its senior care concierge services, meeting medical and nursing needs through offerings such as global emergency assistance and professional in-home care. Collaborations with industry, academia, and research institutions aim to standardise home-based senior care.

By mid-2025, Ping An Good Doctor’s family doctor membership exceeded 35 million, while the number of users eligible for home-based senior care services rose by approximately 83% year-on-year. These services now cover 85 cities and include five group standards.

To provide broad-coverage, high-quality, and cost-effective care, the company expanded its medical, health, and senior care service network, covering online, in-store, in-home, and in-company channels. The network includes 50,000 in-house doctors, contracted external doctors across 37 specialties, and over 3,200 renowned doctors. Ping An Good Doctor has partnered with 4,000+ hospitals, 106,000 health service providers, 240,000 pharmacies, and more than 100 senior care institutions.
