Korean Health Minister to highlight digital health at ASEAN meetings

Korea’s Minister of Health and Welfare of South Korea Cho KyooHong will discuss strategies to enhance ASEAN health security and advance health using digital health technologies at key regional meetings in Vientiane, Laos, on 9 August. The 2nd Korea-ASEAN Health Ministers Meeting and the 10th ASEAN Plus Three (Korea, Japan, and China) Health Ministers Meeting will be co-chaired by Minister Cho and Laos.

The Health Minister will emphasise the importance of using digital technology in a changing healthcare landscape shaped by ageing and emerging public health challenges. He will also propose a vision for future cooperation that leverages Korea’s strengths.
