Unisound to launch healthcare AI hub in Guangxi to serve ASEAN region

Chinese AI company Unisound AI Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (“Guangxi”) to establish the China–ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center, placing healthcare innovation at the centre of its expansion. The company aims to leverage its technology, talent, and resources to create a hub that serves Guangxi and connects to ASEAN markets.

This marks Unisound’s first strategic partnership with a provincial-level government, highlighting official recognition of its AI capabilities, industry experience, and growing brand influence. The collaboration is expected to build a sustainable, replicable regional business model, laying the groundwork for large-scale AI deployment across multiple healthcare sectors.

To support the initiative, Unisound has set up a wholly owned subsidiary in Nanning, Guangxi, serving as its ASEAN headquarters. The subsidiary will focus on “AI + healthcare”, linking Beijing and Guangxi, integrating medical and industrial sectors, and coordinating medical insurance, hospital administration, and healthcare governance. It will serve as the company’s core base for innovation and overseas expansion.

By consolidating top talent and advanced technology from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, Unisound aims to build a high-end, inclusive, and cost-effective intelligent healthcare system, covering clinical services, insurance settlement, and regulatory compliance, while driving the digital upgrade of Guangxi’s healthcare ecosystem.

Unisound brings a strong track record of healthcare AI projects across China, including winning the Jiangsu Provincial Healthcare Insurance AI Model Project, China’s first provincial-level healthcare insurance AI model. The project involved building foundational insurance models, professional knowledge bases, and intelligent system applications using the company’s Shanhai AI Model, creating a standardisable framework for multi-scenario healthcare solutions.

With Guangxi as its strategic hub, Unisound will also promote resource sharing and technology exchange with ASEAN enterprises, supporting its regional expansion and enhancing international brand recognition.
