Valeo Health reaches one million orders as platform data points to widespread undetected health risks in the Gulf

UAE-based home healthcare platform Valeo Health has reached one million orders since its founding five years ago, releasing anonymised user data alongside the milestone that points to significant levels of undetected metabolic risk among first-time testers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Among users who tested for the first time, 66% recorded high cholesterol and 33% showed elevated HbA1c levels, a marker for blood sugar regulation associated with diabetes risk. Separately, 75% of users who enrolled in Valeo’s weight management programmes had a BMI above 25 at the start of their programme.

The company said the data also shows measurable improvement once users engage with guided programmes. Of users who retested, 47.6% saw cholesterol levels improve, while those on guided weight loss programmes lost an average of 20% of their body weight. Among users on Valeo’s Berberine+ programme, 47% saw HbA1c improvement within three to four months. The company also reported that 42% of users improved their Longevity Score on retest.

Valeo said the findings were drawn from anonymised data across its user base, gathered over five years of at-home testing, consultations and guided health programmes. The company has not indicated whether the outcomes data has been independently verified or peer-reviewed.

Founded in 2021, Valeo operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, offering at-home blood testing, doctor consultations, IV therapies, weight management, peptide therapy, newborn care and corporate wellness programmes. The platform integrates wearable data and AI-driven health insights through its app.

Co-founder and CEO Sundeep Sahni said the company had focused on longevity before it became a mainstream healthcare conversation, pointing to the recent establishment of the Dubai Longevity Authority as a marker of a broader regional shift toward prevention and healthy ageing.
